Programme Description

The Diploma in Business Administration is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in general business. Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy.

Course work includes business concepts such as accounting, business law, economics, management, and marketing. Skills related to the application of these concepts are developed through the study of computer applications, communication, team building, and decision making. Through these skills, students will have a sound business education base for lifelong learning and career advancement.

Graduates may use this diploma for career advancement or for matriculation into a UCC bachelor’s degree programme.

Who is this Programme Suitable For?

Those wanting to qualify for entry in one of UCC’s Bachelor’s Degree Programmes.

Those starting or running a micro/small business or are currently working in business administration, accounting, management or marketing.

High School graduates 

Mature students who are currently working and want to upgrade their qualifications

Admissions Criteria

• Minimum requirements: 3 CSEC subjects OR
• Mature student entry: Mature students are anyone over the age of 19 who did not have the minimum entry requirements of 3 CSEC subjects.

5:30 to 8:30
