UCC Academy Work Experience Programme

The UCC Academy, in collaboration with the Council on Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ), offers Occupational Associate Degrees in Allied Health Care, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Renewable Energy Technology, Construction Site Management, and Business Process Outsourcing.

The Associate Degree programmes include a work experience component, which allows students to gain practical skills, and observe and apply management principles and theories.

Students pursuing an Occupational Associate degree with the Academy are required to complete 240 – 270 hours of industry experience.

Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ)

CCCJ is a statutory agency under the Ministry of Education and Youth responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of community colleges in Jamaica. The Council is comprised of representatives from all colleges, the tertiary and secondary levels of the education system, stakeholders in business and industry.
